Biography

Eric Thole spent two years at NDSU where he played football, he lettered on the 1985 NCAA Division II National Championship team. In 1986, Thole transferred to Macalester College and played on the winningest football team in school history and was also named the top male scholar-athlete in his graduating class. Prior to opening his own law firm, Thole spent the first five years of his career at law firms that represented the Cities of Stillwater and Cottage Grove. Eric Thole also spent 8 years as an assistant Washington County attorney, prosecuting felony cases. In 2005, Thole started his own firm and has been the attorney of record for over 2000 cases. Thole was also a past President of the Washington County Bar Association. In addition to his law practice, Thole is very involved in the local community. He is a former Stillwater City Councilman, founding member of both the Stillwater Football and Basketball Booster board of directors.
